AUTUMN EAKIN

PhD Student

Autumn received her BS in geology from Indiana University. From there, she studied fracture diagenesis and growth mechanics at UT Austin. She received her MS from UT in 2011 and went on to join the Energy Technology Company (ETC) at Chevron. Since joining Chevron, she has worked as a seal and trap specialist with a focus on mudstone top seals. She also has experience characterizing unconventional reservoirs. Autumn's research interests include cataloging and understanding the varying types and phases of diagenesis in mudstones and how such diagenesis affects the consolidation behavior and mechanical properties of the rocks through burial.
